Bear Hunt
Here’s a look at the 3rd largest bear taken in the state of Maine by Ben Cottrell during a guided hunt at the Lodge during the 2012 season! This bear is on display in the Dining Hall at Lugdon Logde!
Lugdon Lodge books week long guided hunts. Hunters arrive Sunday after 2:00 p.m. and check out as late as 8:00 a.m. the next Sunday morning. Your hunt includes meals, accommodations, transportation to and from an active bait site, and trophy care of the hide.
Lugdon Lodge wants to preserve a love of hunting in our nation’s youth. Young hunters, under 16 years old, hunt free their first year when they are accompanied by a paying adult. They pay only the non-hunting guest fee to cover lodging and meals.
Non-hunting guests are welcome when space allows $450. There are many adventures for non-hunters to enjoy in Northern Maine!
