Monday at Acting Out
Well, the campers have their parts – Oliver, the Artful Dodger, Mrs. Corney and the rest of the cast are rehearsing twice a day! Oliver Twist will be performed Friday night at 7:00 at Wallagrass Elementary School.
We woke up to rain and ate our evening dessert of Birthday Cake (thanks to Emma turning 10 today) and brownies with ice cream to the sound of rain pouring down – BUT – the sun shone brightly in between!
In fact, WE SWAM THREE TIMES TODAY! We were scheduled to swim this afternoon but after checking the weather and seeing thunder storms in the forecast, Marion decided we should get in the water this morning, just in case. Well, the rain held off so we swam as scheduled after rest hour and again just before Supper tonight since we were all hot and sweaty from a great game of capture the flag! Mike and Cole are TOOOOOOO fast for the rest of us!
Great Quote from camper Zanna after climbing Hedgehog Mountain. “I don’t know what it is, I’ve had other Peanut Butter sandwiches, but the one I ate today was the best ever!”
And from camper Selena, “We do so much, I feel like I’ve already been here for weeks!”
